Cailtin Furey
Program Coordinator

Caitlin is the current Program Coordinator of Girls on the Run of Montgomery County. Before joining GOTR, Caitlin had a summer marketing internship at AvalonBay and a development internship at Carpenter's Shelter in Alexandria. These two experiences have provided her with a diverse set of skills that she will use in the Program Coordinator position.

Caitlin graduated from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) in May 2012 with a BA in Political Science. She has enjoyed short-distance running since she ran for the Georgetown Visitation track team. However, there is a history of marathon-runners in her family, so she is now starting to train for her first half-marathon. She hopes to run a marathon in the next few years. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on the Nationals and the Capitals (and the Redskins depending on the year).
