Favorite way to be active: I absolutely love to dance and challenge my body by learning all types of dances from different cultures. I also enjoy taking care of myself by taking jogs outdoors and practicing yoga.
Favorite song to run/workout to: I can't choose one! But definitely a high-energy playlist of Beyonce, Jessie J, and Missy Elliot.
Favorite food: I love all kinds of pasta! Tortellini, Rotini, Macaroni, Fettucine, Manicotti, Spaghetti, it's all delicious to me!
Happiest when: I find joy in spending time with friends and family, whether it's sharing a meal or taking a hike or lounging on the couch.
Favorite place: Monterery Bay, CA, home of the sea otter
Favorite thing about GOTR: My favorite part of GOTR is getting to know all the parents, teachers, and community members who give of their time and energy to empower girls to be the best they can be. Volunteers make magic happen and fulfill our mission by inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident.
Tell us something that may surprise us about you: I've never broken a bone, I can touch my tongue to the tip of my nose, and I played the violin and viola for 10 years.
Who inspires you: Bold women who work hard to make their visions for the world a reality despite the obstacles in their way. "Nevertheless, she persisted."
Other: On any given day, I can be found singing songs from Disney movies. My current favorites are from Moana and Tangled. Also, I love to cook and bake. I've recently taking a liking to making fruit tarts with fresh fruit from the farmer's market. We are thrilled to welcome Rosa Segura to our staff as Program Manager.
